A cursory search of English driving laws unearthed a couple gems: "endorsements" and the "totting up provisions."
Upon reaching or exceeding 12 points of "endorsements" for driving violations, the Court will disqualify a driver for 6 months if he has not been previously disqualified under the "totting up" provisions, for 12 months if he has already once been disqualified under the "totting up" provisions and for 2 years if he has already been disqualified twice under the "totting up" provisions.
Given the 12-point threshold, with
Derby County currently on 9 points; if we take Paul Jewell at his word, then he's either going to have to ease up on the pedal posthaste, or find a chauffeur.
