Thin Arsenal Squad Travel to Manchester City

Man City v. Arsenal - Sat. 445AM (PST) 745AM (EST) Setanta
Tottenham v. Man. Utd. - Sat 645AM (PST) 945AM (EST) Setanta
Liverpool v. Sunderland - Sat. 900AM (PST) 1200PM (EST) FSC

Arsenal travel to Manchester City with only 14 players. The squad has been reduced due to injuries. Almunia has a thumb problem (I wonder if Jens has anything to do with that or maybe Manuel hurt it when thumbing his nose at Jens) so Lehmann will be in goal; I hope he takes this opportunity seriously and not make any mistake. A clean sheet would be very nice. Rosicky is kept out until next week. I really hope we don't pick up any more injury. February has many important games and having healthy and fresh players is crucial when you are contending on multiple fronts.

Citeh hasn't shown good form lately but they have a solid defense which may be hard to break down. If Sven learned anything from the previous meeting then he may choose to sit back and break on counters. It will take creativity to break down this City team and vigilance to avoid any surprise. This is a good game to take all three points and put a little pressure on Man. U. again seeing that they are visiting the Sp*rs. Let's see how the Woodgate-King partnership fare against the tremendous firepower of the Red Devils. Can glass contain fire? I guess it depends on whether the fire is from a tea light or a Viking stove! Hmmm, all of a sudden, it doesn't look so good for the hosts.

Enjoy your football or soccer, wherever you are!
